Pirates flyhalf sidelined with injury

South Coast Pirates flyhalf Hajj Mohammed will miss the rest of the season with a leg injury.

The number 10 was involved in the Buccaneers' nationwide fixture against Technical University of Mombasa on Saturday and was immediately rushed to hospital as the game, which our Buccaneers lost 29-0, went on.

Mohammed was due in training this week for Pirates' next two home games against University of Eldoret and Kisumu RFC but the leg fracture now means he will take no further part in our Nationwide and Championship campaigns this season.

As confirmed by committe member Malcolm Hunt, the player will be sidelined for the next six weeks as he undergoes recovery.
