South Coast Pirates are back on the road when they travel to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) for a round six fixture in the Championship league.
Seeking for a return to winning ways, Pirates will be taking on JKUAT as both teams look to steer away from the relegation zone.
In what is a must win fixture for both Pirates and JKUAT, it is the visitors who are in dire need of a first away win following unsuccessful attempts during visits to Mean Machine, USIU and most recently Ngong.
While Pirates are out for redemption, the recent home form shown by JKUAT underlines just how tough the weekend clash is poised to be. Following their maiden Championship win over Ngong, the hosts were able to pick a losing bonus point in their 12-6 defeat to Mean Machine, whom they led 6-0 at halftime last weekend.
However, Pirates will be buoyed by their impressive record over JKUAT in the previous contests between the two sides. After a 3-3 draw in the first leg, Pirates registered a 32-3 win in the reversal tie when the two clubs first squared up in the previous Championship season.
Week six will also account for the first meeting of the season between JKUAT and South Coast Pirates after the opening day clash was postponed to a further date.
Pirates then return home for consecutive visits of Mean Machine and USIU on 27th January and 3rd February 2018 respectively.
