The next fixture on the cards for South Coast Pirates is a match against University of Nairobi's Mean Machine who travel to Ukunda during matchday seven.
Mean Machine are placed second on the table and along with Menengai Oilers, they are the only two teams which are yet to lose a match until this stage of the Championship.
Ranked second only due to a less amount of points scored as compared to Oilers, Mean Machine registered a fifth successive Championship win during the 32-8 bonus point win at home to Catholic Monks the previous weekend.
The win was preceded by a slim 12-6 victory over JKUAT where they came from behind to snatch the all important result and continue to track closely behind the league leaders Menengai Oilers.
Mean Machine are also ranked top in the fewest points conceded chart, giving away only an average of only five points per match to make them the best defensive team in the league so far.
