Our leading top point scorer Kelly Akengo was the hero of the day as South Coast Pirates thumped hosts Kabarak RFC 17-07 in Nakuru.
Pirates were the first to break the deadlock through Akengo who drilled home a penalty for a 3-0 lead
However, the hosts pulled a try back to take a 7-03 lead before Akengo’s magic boot bore fruit after successfully converting three more tries to take matters 07-12.
Collins Kabayo landed a try fifteen minutes to the end of the game to seal our victory.
Akengo bagged 12 points to take his tally to 42 this season..
