After seven years of service, South Coast Pirates bids farewell to one of our own β€” Collins Kabayo, who departs the club after a standout spell in the back row to join Menengai Oilers RFC.

Kabayo joined Pirates in 2017 while still a high school student, bringing with him raw passion and a fierce commitment to the game. Over the years, he evolved into a key figure in the squad, amassing 42 appearances and playing a pivotal role in our historic promotion to the Kenya Cup.

His final season was nothing short of exceptional, he finished as our top try scorer with 5 tries.

The entire Pirates family thanks Kabayo for his immense contribution, leadership, and loyalty. His journey is an inspiration to many of our upcoming players from the Coast.

We wish him nothing but success in the next chapter of his rugby career.

πŸ’¬ Kabayo’s Farewell Message:

“It’s been an amazing journey with South Coast Pirates, a club that shaped me from a young, ambitious boy into the player I am today. I’m forever grateful to the coaches, management, fans, and most importantly, my teammates who became brothers. Wearing the Pirates jersey has been an honour, and every match was a chance to represent the Coast with pride. Though I move on, this club will always be home. See you soon, in different colours but with the same respect. Asanteni sana.”
