South Coast Pirates is pleased to announce that Kelly David Akengo has extended his stay with the club for one more season.
The former Kabras RFC and Kenya Harlequin back joined the club last season from Kabete Stallions RFC and became the KRU championship top point scorer with 118 points, helping South Coast Pirates secure the elusive Kenya Cup promotion where it will be our first season in the top tier in the club’s history.
The playmaker is set for another season with the South Coast Pirates having impressed the club’s technical team.
South Coast Pirates who won the KRU Championship title last season will be looking forward in maximizing Akengo’s experience who also featured for Ugandan side Jinja Hippos in the Uganda Premiership campaign to ensure they post postive results in the 2024/2025 Kenya cup campaign where they will compete among the elite in Kenyan rugby.
