South Coast Pirates emerged victorious in the 2023/24 Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) Championship season after a thrilling showdown against Impala, securing a 16-14 win to claim the coveted title. As the season came to a close, the spotlight shines on the top try scorers who played a pivotal role in Pirates’ success.

Brighton Leads the Charge

At the forefront of Pirates’ try-scoring prowess stands the fleet-footed winger Brighton Omondi ‘Zangi’ showcasing his exceptional skill with five tries throughout the season. His consistent performance on the field has been instrumental in Pirates’ journey to glory, leading by example and inspiring teammate’s having joined us from TUM Marines at the start of the season.
